Great to see loads of students participate in book week which was held during week 4. 

Our visiting author was Anne Kayes, she talked about her book “In our own backyard” which was very interesting, she based her book on her personal experiences during the Springboks tour in NZ. Anne inspired students who love to write, gave ideas and suggestions. 

The hot chocolate was a big hit for students who came and read in our reading room on Tuesday at lunch break. So popular we may do this again, so keep an eye out. There were prizes for being caught reading tokens, issue a book during the week and the scavenger Hunt and the Uber reads bags went very quick.
