The Auckland Badminton Championships were held last week

Four of our senior Badminton players competed in the Auckland Badminton Championships last week Thursday.  

Kevin Basilio and Jun Kit Woon competed in the doubles division, playing well but did not make the quarterfinals this time. 

Jerry Zhou played in the boys singles division. He also fought hard to win and was narrowly defeated. 

Becky Lin played in the girls singles division, winning her matches making the quarter finals in which she also won her game.  She lost in the semi final against St Cuthbert's College finishing overall 3rd place. An exceptional performance from a talented player.
