Rutherford College students achieved excellent results at the recent Gym Sports Competition

Rutherford College students achieved excellent results at the recent Gymsports competition, representing the school across both rhythmic and artistic gymnastics disciplines. Myra Tan competed in Rhythmic Gymnastics – Level 10 and delivered an outstanding performance. Competing in Ball, Hoop, Ribbon, and Clubs, Myra showed consistency across all events and was awarded 1st place overall in her division. 

In Rhythmic Gymnastics – Senior International, Lucy Day also achieved impressive results. Lucy placed 1st in Hoop, 2nd in Clubs, and 3rd in both Ball and Ribbon, securing 2nd place overall.

Competing in Artistic Gymnastics – Women’s NZ Gym for All Level 5 & 6, Scarlett Williamson performed across Uneven Bars, Floor, Balance Beam, and Vault. Her strong performances across all apparatus earned her 3rd place overall in her division. 

Congratulations to Myra, Lucy, and Scarlett on their fantastic achievements and for representing Rutherford College with pride.
