Strong results for Cameron Deo at Championships Qualifiers

Strong results for Cameron Deo at Championships Qualifiers

Cameron Deo recently competed in both the Round Robin Kata and Round Robin Kumite events

Cameron Deo recently competed in both the Round Robin Kata and Round Robin Kumite events at the Auckland Championship qualifiers.

Competing in the 14–18 Years Kata division, Cameron performed extremely well and earned a bronze medal, missing out on silver by just one flag. In the 14–18 Years Kumite division, Cameron competed in a very large and competitive field.

After losing his first fight, he came back strongly to win his next two bouts and finished in fourth place overall.

Cameron is now training towards the upcoming Hamilton tournament and the Auckland Championships, with both events helping prepare him for the World Cup in the United Kingdom later this year.
