Aryan Liddell had an outstanding performance at the Summer Slam Nationals

Aryan Liddell had an outstanding performance at the Summer Slam Nationals, held on 9 May at the Barfoot & Thompson Centre in Kohimarama. 

Competing in the Teen Under 65kg Yellow Belt Gi division, Aryan fought extremely well to take home the gold medal. 

He also competed in the Teen Under 56kg Yellow Belt NoGi division, where he finished with a silver medal after another strong showing on the mats. 

Competing in large divisions against higher-ranked belts, Aryan handled himself brilliantly throughout the tournament. To come away with both gold and silver medals against tough competition was a fantastic achievement and something he should be very proud of.
