Girls Volleyball take on Auckland Champs

Girls Volleyball take on Auckland Champs

Rutherford Girls Volleyball attended the Auckland Championships 2026

Rutherford Girls Volleyball attended the Auckland Championships 2026, held from 11th to 13th March at Bruce Pulman Park.

The team had a positive and rewarding season, especially as this was their first year competing in the Central West Grade.

This advancement allowed them to enter Division 2 for the first time. The girls finished 10th in Division 2, which is a significant achievement and a strong reflection of their growth, skill, and determination throughout the season.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our coach, Ashleigh Sinclair, for her dedication and guidance during the season.

We also acknowledge our Year 13 leaders, Captain Emily Naumotu and Safaila Tautai, for their commitment over the past five years. Your leadership and contribution to the team have been invaluable.

We wish you both all the very best for your future endeavors.

Rutherford Girls A Volleyball Team: Emily Naumotu, Safaila Tautai, Kiara Gill, Shavaya Liuaga MacDonald, Sei Mafi, Lilianthony Tuifua, Olivia Tuivaiti, Cha’ris Tolovaa & Litimai Aisake.
