Sports Leadership Day at Adventure Works

On Friday, 30th January, our Sports Committee members and Junior Sports Council spent the day at Adventure Works for a leadership day designed to help everyone connect and enjoy a bit of fun together.

One of the highlights was the high ropes adventure course. It stretched a few comfort zones, but what stood out most was the way students supported one another and stepping up when challenges looked a little daunting. By the end of the day, you could really see the group starting to gel as a team. It was a fantastic way to kick off the year and set the tone for the work ahead.

These students will play an important role in helping run and support sport across our college, and after seeing how they worked together, we’re excited to watch them grow into their leadership roles.
