Current and former Rutherford College wrestling team members turned to coaching last week when they took five local junior schools through some wrestling classes. Ex pupils Imran Ahmadi and Lucas Alabastro were joined by current members Safwan Chowdhury and Stirling Quach as they gave the kids an introduction to wrestling. It is great to see these guys giving back to the sport and their old schools.

Matipo Primary commented “I was really impressed with how well the coaches managed the kids. They did such a great job getting their attention, keeping them engaged, and balancing activity with clear instruction. “
