Rutherford was fortunate to take the Junior Girls to the 2025 Auckland Volleyball Champs, held at Bruce Pulman Park on Wednesday, 12th - 14th November. The girls had a successful season, coming first in their Zone, only losing one of their games. With this momentum, they were ready to take on the Auckland Champs. The girls were able to place 8th in their Division, a massive win as this was a first for our school volleyball team to place high in such a big tournament. Huge thank you to our coach, Ashleigh Sinclair, for her support and encouragement. Huge thank you to Mr Williams and Miss Tolova’a for taking us to and from our games and supporting us throughout the season. Thank you to our parents and families for their support and for coming to watch our games. We hoped we made you proud. Kotuku up!!
