Among the standout athletes was Lucy Day

The NZ XP Gymnastics Nationals 2025 took place from September 22nd to September 26th at Trusts Stadium, drawing some of the country’s best gymnasts for a fierce and inspiring competition. 

Among the standout athletes was Lucy Day, competing at Level 10—the highest level in the sport. , securing an impressive 5th place in hoops, 16th in ball, 9th in clubs, and 11th in ribbon. 

Competing at Level 10 is no small feat, Lucy showcased remarkable skill and determination across multiple events. Achieving top 5 in hoops and top 10 in clubs demonstrates her exceptional talent and focus, while her consistent rankings in the other events highlight her versatility and resilience. These strong performances earned her an 11th place finish overall, a fantastic achievement in such a competitive field.
