Rutherford College wrestlers competed at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Wrestling Tournament

On Friday the 29th of September, Rutherford College wrestlers competed at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Wrestling Tournament, hosted at Dilworth College. 

The team put on an impressive showing, with every athlete finishing inside the top 10 in their respective weight classes. 

Connor Steele wrestled his way to the finals to earn an outstanding 2nd place finish. 

Close behind were Zahra Basiri, Stirling Quach and Siddhant Pant who each fought hard to secure 3rd place in their divisions. 

The strong results across the board highlight the team’s hard work, dedication, and the growing strength of Rutherford College wrestling.
