Amy Thomson delivered an outstanding performance at the Auckland Secondary Schools Athletics Championships, excelling in both the 3000m and Steeplechase events. Her impressive results earned her selection to represent the Auckland team at the North Island Secondary Schools Athletics Championships. The championship was held at Porritt Stadium in Hamilton, where Amy once again proved why she was chosen for the team. She dominated the Intermediate girls 3000m race, securing a commanding first-place finish. In the Under 17 Girls Steeplechase, she continued her exceptional form, claiming another first-place victory. Congratulations to Amy on her well-deserved success—we look forward to seeing even more great achievements from her in the future.
