Kia ora te whanau ō te Kōtuku
One of the best things we can do is to take responsibility for the things that we can control or influence. If we wait for other people to improve or to change for the better, we are not focusing our attention on where the energy needs to be channeled. The best person to make the change that you want to see is yourself, through your own words, deeds and actions you take on a daily basis. If you want to be better today than you were yesterday and strive for personal excellence, it’s what you do here and now that makes the difference.
At Rutherford we encourage our people to take ownership, accountability and responsibility. People who do this develop a growth mindset and tend to be those who over time make the most progress.
If you follow this process it is my belief you will be on to a winning mindset.
