As Our Term 4 Evening Classes Get Underway Adult Students are Already Enjoying the Opportunity to Learn New skills
As our Term 4 evening classes get underway, adult students are already enjoying the opportunity to learn new skills, meet other people, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.
Many of our students embraced their creative side through Welding, Woodwork, Sewing, Pottery, Slip Casting, Malaysian and Thai Cuisine classes. From creating their first projects to developing more advanced techniques, it's been rewarding to make something new with their hands and notice confidence growth each week.
Our ESOL, IELTS, and PTE Exam Preparation classes are helping our migrant students to strengthen English language skills and prepare for future study or employment. Students in Japanese, Chinese, Te Reo Māori, and Cook Islands Māori are enjoying learning new languages while gaining a deeper appreciation of different cultures and traditions.
Others are focusing on wellbeing and practical life skills through Tai Chi Qigong for Wellbeing and Food Hygiene courses.
No matter our backgrounds or goals, we are all sharing the same experience: learning something new, building confidence, and becoming part of a vibrant community of learners. We look forward to continuing our learning adventures in the weeks ahead.
