2027 Course Option Amendments

2027 Course Option Amendments

Students selected their 2027 courses during Term 3, and these choices have already been used to inform planning for next year’s timetable, class sizes, staffing and resources. Following Derived Grade Examinations, students may have had a change of mind or gained a clearer understanding of their interests, strengths or future pathways. Students wishing to request an amendment to their 2027 course selections must submit the Option Amendment Request Google Form via SchoolBridge by Friday 23 October 2026.

Students must explain their reasons for the requested change, check course prerequisites and entry requirements, and attach the required supporting documentation, including evidence of relevant approvals.

Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account students’ best interests, course availability and timetable constraints. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, and requests without the required supporting documentation will not be progressed.

Students seeking advice about their course choices can speak with their tutor teacher, subject teachers or HOD, Academic Dean or House Dean, or Mrs Gibson in Careers at [email protected].

Further information is available on the Course Selection page at Study.rutherford.school.nz
