Rutherford College Community Education is offering a range of NZQA-accredited courses designed to help you enhance your employment opportunities, workplace readiness, and academic success. 

Whether you're interested in hospitality, workplace safety, or improving your NCEA results, these short courses provide valuable training from experienced tutors in a supportive learning environment. 

Course Highlights:  

Barista Course – NZQA Unit 17285 Learn professional coffee-making techniques and customer service skills that are highly valued in the hospitality industry. Duration: 2 Saturdays, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Start Dates: 5 September or 7 November  

Food Hygiene – NZQA Unit 20666 Gain essential knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards required in the food service sector. Duration: 2 evenings, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Start Date: 3 November  

Workplace First Aid Express – NZQA Units 6402 & 6401 Develop the confidence and skills to meet workplace first aid requirements. Duration: 1 day, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Date: 5 September 

Spring School – NCEA English Level 2 Get focused support to strengthen your English skills and prepare for assessments during the school holidays. Duration: 5 days, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm Start

 Date: 28 September
