For our final MathEx of the year we were at the University of Auckland

For our final MathEx of the year we were at the University of Auckland. It was a great experience as many schools from all over Auckland came to compete, each one being of Pasifika descent. MathEx was truly a great time all throughout the year and getting to see the University that many of us may be attending when we are older was great. It was such an honour to be a part of MathEx this year. -  Kori Churchill 10RNI.

Kaia: This was honestly one of my favourite Mathex competitions so far and I’m so sad it’s over. All of the schools genuinely tried their hardest and I feel that my team was doing quite good despite the fact that we didn’t place. I hope many more Pacifika and Māori kids get to go through this experience and that they have as much fun as I did. - Kaia Cash 10RNI. 

Sharlott: This was such a  great way to finish of my last MathEx challenge.I had so much fun competing with everyone and getting to experience the University of Auckland where most of us will be heading in the next couple years. It was amazing seeing so many schools across Auckland come together and watching everyone give it their all. I'm really grateful for all the memories and experiences MathEx has given me throughout these last two years, and I’ll definitely miss it. - Sharlott Naicker 10TBR 

It was a great challenge to finish off our MathEx for the year. I'm excited to continue the maths challenge next year in year 10 and see new people have more opportunities.  - Maia Gascoigne 9MYK

I had plenty of fun at the final Mathex competition this week, and I’d like to thank all of the staff involved with setting it up. It’s sad that this is the final one for the year, as I’m not gonna get any more chances to win or place in this competition.
