On Wednesday our Classical Studies students went to watch the newly released Odyssey movie

On Wednesday our Classical Studies students went to watch the newly released Odyssey movie dircted by Christopher Nolan. 

Billing a star studded cast, excitement had been building for weeks. The moment finally arrived and we headed for our buses. 

After a short ride by bus and a quick meander through the Mall, we settled into the cinema. Vast amounts of snacks, popcorn and drinks were purchased and when we all had everything we needed we headed upstairs for the film. 

We were lucky enough to have a privately booked screen which we packed out with our classes. A loud cheer greeted the start of the film and we booed the bad guys and cheered at key heroic moments throughout. 

Movie finished, our students exited the cinema, debating the content, characters and favourite scenes. Discussions lasted well into the weekend and it was agreed by all who attended that this was something to be done each and every year from here on out.
