Community Education participating in the Rutherford College Open Evening event

Our department was delighted to take part in the recent Rutherford College Open Evening 30th July 2026

Our department was delighted to take part in the recent Rutherford College Open Evening 30th July 2026, which provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with prospective students and their whānau. Throughout the evening, information was shared about our programmes, and gave visitors a glimpse into the exciting learning opportunities available within our department.

It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm from both students and parents, and we appreciated the genuine interest shown by everyone who visited our stand. Events like these play an important role in helping future students feel welcomed and informed as they consider their next steps.

A special thank you goes to our Year 10 students who supported the stand during the evening. Their enthusiasm and confidence made a real difference and helped create a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors. We are grateful for their contribution and for being such excellent ambassadors for our department.

On this occasion, we would like to invite you to our Open Evening on 9 September, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This will be another excellent opportunity to explore our learning spaces, meet tutors and fellow adult students, and attend free-of-charge workshops.
