Welcoming and supporting our international students throughout their stay at Rutherford College

International Ambassadors 

A group of 16 Year 13 students have dedicated themselves to welcoming and supporting our international students throughout their stay at Rutherford College. 

For them, it meant cutting their summer holiday short to come into school and help with the orientation of our 50 foreign fee-paying students many of whom are here for long-term stays. 

Our ambassadors have taken their roles to heart and, in addition to providing support and contact around the school, they have gone the extra mile to ensure birthdays are celebrated in style and short-stay students receive a permanent reminder of the time spent at Rutherford College. 

It is great to see our senior students exhibiting such Manaakitanga to students visiting from distant shores.
