Talofa and Kia ora, Happy Samoan Language Week. On Tuesday, 2nd June Rutherford College hosted the 3rd Yr 9/10 Pacifika & Maori Mathex of the Year in the bottom Gym due to Sports photo’s in the Hall. Kelston Boys High School, Waitakere College, Liston College and Auckland Girls Grammar attended.
Year 9’s included Avah Ferrucci, 9TAH, Maia Gascoigne, 9MYK, Sam Hennah, 9RSA, Aryan Liddell, 9MBM, Peyton Matai'a, 9RSA, Sam Richards, 9RWO.
Year 10’s included Kaia Cash, 10RNI, Cohen Casley, 10TCA, Kori Churchill, 10TCA, Ben Curtis,10MMS, Riley Grace 10THO, Sharlott Naicker, 10TBR, Khaedon Nootai,10RNI, Marley Wright 10RCO
“This MathEx was a great experience. This time we were the hosting school and our year 9 team ended placing first out of all schools, with one our year 10 teams coming in third place out of all year 10’s”. - Kori Churchill, 10TCA
